Melanie moved to the Central Coast in 2013 after having a successful massage and reflexology practice in Castle Hill for 13 years. Previously, Melanie worked in Corporate Australia for 30 years and after experiencing a hectic and stressful year in 1997, which had left her asking the question “do I want to do this for the rest of my working life?” she ventured on a path of self discovery in 1998 enrolling in a massage course at Nature Care College, eventurally leading to a change in career and where she is today.
Melanie has had extensive experience in clinical practice as well as working as a Reflexologist in Aged Care for 4 years and at the Westmead Children’s Hospital Starlight Room in a voluntary capacity. She also has experience in corporate massage and reflexology where she worked at Google for 2 years.
Melanie has attained diplomas in Remedial Massage and Reflexology, with further studies in Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Maternity Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, Intuitive Body Work, Energetic Healing, Flower Essence Therapy and other forms of healing and wellbeing.
Melanie is a registered member of the ATMS (#9602) and is a registered provider with all Health Funds who offer a rebate for massage and reflexology.
Melanie’s philosophy is that the body can heal itself; when given the assistance to relax and release what is blocking its’ natural healing ability, whether it be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. This belief and passion flows through to her healing work. Melanie’s intention is to inspire and motivate her clients to achieve optimal health and wellbeing so that they can live a balanced and fulfilled life.
Melanie uses various techniques to facilitate change in the body, mind and soul. These techniques have been used by healers for centuries. She provides a safe and caring environment, so whether her clients are looking for relief from pain, stress, injury or just relaxation they can be assured of a nurturing experience.
